Master Geographic Letter Lists

The Master Geographic Letter is used to verify subdivider compliance with locally administered laws and ordinances. In accordance with statutory review duties of the Real Estate Commissioner, the subdivider must submit evidence that the subdivider has complied with all local subdivision requirements, such as the type of project, completion of financial arrangements of certain city/county requirements, availability of potable water, any dedications, and flood control requirements (to list a few of the covered items/conditions). The Department's established lists allows the subdivider the opportunity to avoid the need for separate clearance letters in connection with each subdivision map approved by the city/county indicated in the letter.
