Free Videos and Workbooks Available to Educators

The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) funded the development of educational videos and workbooks to help prepare young adults for the experiences of renting and buying a home. The videos are approximately 20 minutes in length with closed captioning for the hearing impared.

High school, adult school, and community college teachers and community organizations can request a free copy of the Property Quest Educator's Set which includes the Property Quest: A Guide for First Time Home Buyers video, home buyer's workbook and trainer's manual and the Property Quest: A Guide for First Time Renters video, home buyer's workbook and trainer's manual with permission to reproduce the workbooks by contacting Rosa Arellano at Rosa_Arellano@dre.ca.gov or Department of Real Estate, 2201 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95818.
