Course Providers (Pre-License/Statutory and Continuing Education)

The Education and Research Section of the Department of Real Estate reviews Pre-license/Statutory course submissions and Continuing Education course submissions pursuant to Article 24 and 25 of the Regulations of the Real Estate Commissioner.


Pre-License Course Providers

The Pre-license Course Application Packet consists of forms RE 303, RE 306, RE 307, RE 318A, RE 336, RE 338 and RE 423. Course sponsors that would like to pay course fees by credit card can use form RE 909. All out-of-state course providers will also need form RE 304.

Continuing Education Course Providers

The Continuing Education Offering Application Packet consists of forms RE 300, RE 302, RE 308, RE 312, RE 315, RE 318A, RE 335, and RE 349. Continuing Education course providers preparing course material for offerings in the mandatory course categories of Agency, Ethics, Fair Housing, Risk Management, or Trust Fund Handling will need to follow the guidelines as set forth in form RE 329. Course sponsors that would like to pay course fees by credit card can use form RE 909. All out-of-state course providers will also need form RE 304.

Recent Regulation Amendments

The following regulations relating to Continuing Education were approved by the Office of Administrative Law and filed with the Secretary of State on September 16, 2010. These amendments will go into effect on January 1, 2011.
