• No More Licensee Lists on Magnetic Tape
  Effective immediately, the California Department of Real Estate will no longer be providing the Real Estate Licensee Lists on magnetic tape.  The Department will now be providing the Licensee Lists on a PC-readable CD-ROM. Each CD-ROM will contain a copy of the licensee list in the following four formats, which can be imported into most database programs:
  1. Tab Delimited.
  2. Comma Delimited.
  3. DBF. (Can be opened with several commonly-used database application software products, such as Microsoft FoxPro, Microsoft Access, Borland dBase (version 3 and greater), and Computer Associates Clipper.)
  4. Fixed Width. (The record format is the same as the tape.)
