Web Service Availability

On Sunday, December 12, 2010, beginning at 8:00 p.m. through 12:00 a.m., the DRE will be performing system upgrades. During this time period, the following functions will NOT be available on the DRE web site.

• All eLicensing transactions including license renewals, changes of mailing address, change of sponsoring broker, duplicate licensing requests, examination scheduling, results, or future examination date information.
• Verification of license status
• Verification of approved continuing educaton or statutory course offerings or sponsors.

DRE forms and general information may be obtained during the upgrade period from either the web site or voice response system.

DRE appreciates your patience and understanding.

Service availability to the eLicensing System is dependent upon many conditions. As a result, DRE cannot guarantee constant eLicensing System access.

Licensees are strongly cautioned not to postpone the entry of an eLicensing renewal transaction in the event that access to the system may be temporarily unavailable or experiencing slow or interrupted responses. eLicensing renewal transactions are considered to be late after midnight of the expiraton date, even if the transaction is in process at that time or the system is unavailable. All eLicensing transactions will be monitored by the timing mechanisms of the eLicensing System and not the licensee's computer.

Conditions that may contribute to service outages include:

• System downtime for maintenance operations
• Unavailability of payment processing functions
• Internet interruptions by the licensee's service provider
• Slow Internet response times due to peak usage
• Computer malfunctions or failures
